A webring's purpose is to collect websites of a same topic within a list, where the user receives brief information about the different websites and then he/she then can directly click the links.
How does a webring work?
With linking on websites to other friend-websites or those of sponsors can be linked. With a greater amount of links, it can quickly become convoluted. A webring here offers the possibility to list all the registered sites of this webring in an overview. Therefor a code has to be inserted into all participating website. This code refers to the start page of the webring. Herewith the websites are all linked with each other.
Websites can here quickly be added or deleted.
Who controls the webring and why is this necessary?
For legal reasons controlling the webring is indispensable. The websites have to be checked up on forbidden content (e.g. copyright infringement or pornographic content).

Which conditions have to be fulfilled?
Your website has to be freely accesible!
In case you have password protected areas the responsible person of Ever Dram has to get the possibility to access each single area of the website. The internal data in these areas are treated respectfully and won't be given to any third outside parties!
- At least 50% of the website has to be accesible free of charge.
- Your website is not bound to a certain language, which means everything is allowed: Englisch, German, Spanish, Swedish and so on.
- Websites that only consist of a forum cannot be added to the webring!
- Websites that only include content taken from the official website www.nightwish.com can also not be accepted.
- The webring banner hast to be implemented well visibly, if possible on the start page. This has to be done before you are included into the Nightwish Webring.
Which contents are generally forbidden?
Forbidden are:
- Copyright infringements, e.g. supply of lyrics that are copyright protected
- Pornographic contents
Do I have to pay a fee for taking part?
No matter if you are a visitor of the webring or a direct participant with your own website, the "Nightwish"-Webring is a free service of the Ever Dream Fanclub.
How can I add my website to the webring?
We herefor have the registration form. You there have to add the necessary information. Lonnie will then check your website regarding the forbiddance as stated above.
Afterwards you have to add the banner code to your website within 72hrs, best visibly. The entry to the webring will follow automatically and you will then receive an email saying if your website will be added to the webring or in case not, you will be informed about which part of your website infringes a rule.
Will the websites still be controlled after after they were added to the webring?
The websites will be controlled irregularly by Lonnie in order to notice new infringements of the rules. If this should happen your website will be removed from our webring. You will reveive an email naming the infringements. After correcting them you can contact Lonnie who then will check your website again and will afterwards, if there are no more infringements, add your website to the webring again.
What can I do if my website goes offline?
If your website will be offline for a short time (up to 6 months) inform Lonnie@ever-dream.de. A note will then be shown in the webring, saying your website is offline momentarily.
In case your website will be offline permanently (more than 6 months) also send an email to Lonnie@ever-dream.de. Your website will then be removed from the webring. This also applies if you don't want to appear in the webring anymore.
Can I alter the description of my website within the webring?
Yes. After registering you receive your login details you can log in to the webring with. You there can change your description and further data of your website.
I cannot login. What should I do?
You have to accept cookies of webring.ever-deram.de to login.
